Pedro Zamith (Lisbon, 1971) is a Portuguese visual artist whose work combines painting, drawing, illustration, and theatrical narrative. He graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and holds a BA in Scenography and Theatre Design from the School of Theatre and Cinema. His multidisciplinary background has profoundly influenced his artistic language, characterized by a strong sense of staging, storytelling, and visual dramaturgy. Throughout his career, Zamith has developed a distinctive figurative style that explores the relationship between history, memory, fiction, and everyday life. His paintings often depict ambiguous characters and scenes charged with irony, humor, and subtle social observation. Drawing inspiration from popular culture, cinema, and the urban environment, he creates imaginative narratives that blur the boundaries between reality and invention.
