We are delighted to present Outlast by Manuel Castillero, the latest volume in Espaço Exibicionista Gallery’s Collectable Art Catalogue series. Documenting Castillero’s solo exhibition at the gallery, this publication features reproductions of every painting in the exhibition, alongside texts and photographs that offer insight into his figurative practice, which brings together observation of the real world, memory and imagination.

Manuel Castillero (Córdoba, 1976) has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Spain and abroad. His distinctions include the First Prize for Painting in the Figurativas 2015 international competition, organised by the Fundación de las Artes y los Artistas in Barcelona; the First Prize in the AXA Catedral de Burgos Painting Competition in 2017; and the Jaén Emilio Ollero Painting Prize in 2022, awarded for his work Der Abschied.
