Écorce, by Sónia Aniceto, is the new collector’s edition published by Espaço Exibicionista Gallery, exploring the artist’s practice through a curated selection of images and texts from different series of works. This publication reflects a body of work developed at the intersection of painting and textile, where thread, gesture, and material play a central role. Moving between surface and construction, drawing and stitching, the works reveal an approach grounded in experimentation, texture, and three-dimensional form.

Sónia Aniceto (b. 1976, Lisbon) lives and works in Brussels. She holds a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon and pursued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels, as well as postgraduate studies in Contemporary Art at the Free University of Brussels (ULB).
