Temos uma ligação especial com a figura humana, é algo que nós observamos todos os dias, desde que nascemos, olhamos e questionamos constantemente. Conhecemos pessoas tão diferentes e com características tão opostas. É interessante para mim dar vida a personagens que não existem. Sinto que muitas delas não se consegue decifrar, se estão felizes ou tristes....cria-se esse mistério em volta de cada personagem, ou seja quem é realmente essa pessoa. A verdade é que nem eu sei. Acho piada ficar mesmo assim, Assim todas as vezes que olhar para eles posso imaginar historias diferentes.A verdade é que nunca sei exactamente qual será o resultado final, portanto mesmo para mim ás vezes é uma icógnita do porque a ter criado.
We have a special connection with the human figure, it is something that we observe every day, since we were born, we constantly look and question. We know people so different and with such opposite characteristics. It is interesting for me to bring characters that do not exist to life. I feel that many of them cannot be deciphered, whether they are happy or sad .... this mystery is created around each character, that is to say who the person really is. The truth is, I don't even know. I think it is a joke to stay anyway, so every time I look at them I can imagine different stories. The truth is that I never know exactly what the end result will be, so even for me it is sometimes an icon of why I created it.

Estas mulheres que pinto são mulheres com a alma a desbotar. Sente-se pelo olhar, sente-se pela expressão e posição. São mulheres fortes, mulheres sensíveis e frágeis, mulheres femininas, mulheres cativantes. No fundo pode ser qualquer uma/um de nós. Todas contam uma historia diferente, cada uma mais protuberante que outra. Teem um olhar transparente e intrigante ao espectador como se tivessem a alma descoberta.
These women I paint are women with a fading soul. Sit by the look, feel by the expression and position. They are strong women, sensitive and fragile women, female women, captivating women. Basically it can be any one of us. They all tell a different story, each one more protruding than the other. Have a transparent and intriguing look to the viewer as if they have their soul uncovered.
O que é arte? What's art?
A arte faz parte de mim e penso que de nós todos. A arte é emoção, é expressão, é ser intenso, é ter ideias, é ter visão, é ser bonito, é ser feio, é ser esquisito.
O meu interesse pela arte surgiu naturalmente, pincel na mão, mãos na massa e muitas experiências desde que me lembro de ser gente. Revejo-me em constante procura de alguma coisa, sem motivo algum. Surge como terapia, como processo de libertação de maneira vigiada.
Art is part of me and I think of us all. Art is emotion, it is expression, it is being intense, it is having ideas, it is having vision, it is being beautiful, it is being ugly, it is being weird. My interest in art came naturally, brush in hand, hands on and lots of experiences since I remember being a person. I find myself constantly looking for something, for no reason. It emerges as therapy, as a process of liberation in a guarded manner.
