Desde o seu início, Coderch e Malavia conseguiram posicionar-se como artistas figurativos de destaque. Receberam o Prêmio Reina Sofía de Pintura e Escultura pela sua obra de arte “Hamlet” em 2017 e ganharam o Primeiro Prémio no 14º ARC International Salon Competition com a escultura “The Swan Dance” em 2019. Entre outros prémios destacamos a Medalha de Escultura Mariano Benlliure, o Prêmio de Arte TIAC ou o Prêmio Arcadia Contemporâneo.
From the very beginning, Coderch and Malavia have managed to position themselves as outstanding figurative artists. They received the Reina Sofía Painting and Sculpture Prize for their “Hamlet” artwork in 2017 and won First Prize at the 14th ARC International Salon Competition with the sculpture “The Swan Dance” in 2019. Their other awards include the Mariano Benlliure Sculpture Medal, the TIAC Art Prize or the Arcadia Contemporary Award.

Para Victor Hugo, Hamlet é a missão aconselhada por um fantasma, a vívida dramatização da melancolia e da insanidade. O valor do protagonista é baseado em seu conflito interno e individual. Hamlet foi frequentemente recebido como uma figura filosófica. Isso expõe ideias consideradas relativistas, existenciais ou céticas hoje.
"Nada é bom ou ruim, mas no poder da nossa fantasia"
"Nada é real, exceto o que está em nossa mente"
"Ser ou não ser, essa é a questão" é uma frase que engloba toda a filosofia do ser humano em poucas palavras e que nos inicia no debate de como a vida e o destino devem ser enfrentados. Hamlet está no meio de uma batalha emocional entre a vida e a morte.
For Victor Hugo, Hamlet is the mission advised by a ghost, the vivid dramatization of melancholy and insanity. The protagonist's value is based on his internal and individual conflict. Hamlet was often received as a philosophical figure. This exposes ideas considered relativistic, existential or skeptical today.

"To be or not to be, that is the question" is a phrase that encompasses the entire philosophy of the human being in a few words and that initiates us in the debate of how life and destiny should be faced. Hamlet is in the midst of an emotional battle between life and death.
