Hugo Silva apresenta nesta exposição os seus mais recentes trabalhos onde aborda o universo das expressões humanas. Os seus personagens, parecem pretender penetrar bem fundo no interior daqueles com que se vão confrontar no espaço de galeria. Um conjunto de pinturas que desafiam o observador a desvendar os segredos da alma que se ocultam por detrás de olhares enigmáticos e de gestos misteriosos. Que, na realidade, tratam-se de expressões do quotidiano, gestos que são também nossos e que fazem parte de um léxico universal que, parecendo inacessível, todos “lemos” num processo comunicacional de uma enorme subtileza e poder.
Hugo Silva presents in this exhibition his latest works where he approaches the universe of human expressions. Their characters seem to be trying to penetrate deep into the ones with which they will confront each other in the gallery space. A set of paintings that challenge the observer to unravel the secrets of the soul that hide behind enigmatic glances and mysterious gestures. That, in reality, they are expressions of everyday life, gestures that are also ours and that form part of a universal lexicon that, seemingly inaccessible, we all "read" in a communication process of enormous subtlety and power.
