Na exposição “Copy-Past”, a artista plástica Rita Melo pretende seduzir o espetador pela beleza e cânones da figura humana clássica paragonando com o encanto do facilitismo tecnológico. Uma apropriação de obras clássicas onde “pinceladas” robotizadas presentes em softwares de desenho e de pintura produzem novas imagens. A mensagem, está na iminência de perceber de que modo somos afetados pela tecnologia digital, e de que modo esta interação interfere no posicionamento do sujeito face aos aspetos da criatividade.
In “Copy-Past”, the artist Rita Melo intends to seduce the viewer by the beauty and canons of the classic human figure, paragoning with the charm of technological facilitation. An appropriation of classic works where robotic “brushstrokes” presents in drawing and painting software’s produce new images. The message is on the verge of understanding how we are affected by digital technology, and how this interaction interferes with the subject's positioning in relation to the aspects of creativity
