Eirik Arnesen (b. 1990, Norway) is a contemporary sculptor whose practice is rooted in the realist tradition. He received his training in figurative sculpture at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, where he studied under sculptor Robert Bodem. His work focuses on the human figure, exploring the balance between anatomical precision, structural integrity, and organic naturalism. Drawing inspiration from classical sculpture and direct observation, Arnesen creates works that celebrate the physicality and expressive potential of the human body. Through carefully constructed forms, he seeks to convey a sense of permanence and vitality while maintaining a deep connection to the traditions of figurative art. Alongside his studio practice, Arnesen serves as Principal Instructor of Sculpture at the Florence Academy of Art, where he continues to teach and mentor emerging artists while developing his own body of work.
