A exposição Matriz, é uma retrospetiva dos trabalhos de escultura desenvolvidos por Filipe Curado nos últimos anos, e surpreende com uma nova série de pinturas sobre madeira, que preservam a mesma linguagem e identidade do escultor.
The exhibition Matriz is an retrospective of the sculptures developed by Filpe Curado in the last years, and surprises the viewer with a the new set of paintings over wood, preserving the language and identity of the sculptor.

Essencialmente trabalho pedra, nomeadamente o mármore. Gosto de explorar outros materiais como resina, metais, madeira…mas o mármore é o que evidência mais a minha obra. Principalmente o “nosso” mármore, o mármore português. Dá uma nobreza maior ao trabalho, em especial o mármore branco.
Essentially work stone, namely marble. I like to explore other materials like resin, metals, wood ... but the marble is what most evidences my work. Mainly "our" marble, the Portuguese marble. It gives a greater nobility to the work, especially the white marble.
