Trained in Political Science, Bruno Cecilio began his artistic practice in 2008, working across visual arts, performance, film, and installation. His work engages critically with media culture, spectacle, and contemporary forms of entertainment. He has developed site-specific projects in Lisbon and collaborated with multidisciplinary collectives, particularly POGO Teatro, where he is currently Artistic Director. Alongside his artistic practice, he has co-authored film scripts, participated in documentary and performance projects, and contributed to major exhibitions and cultural programmes. He also has extensive experience in exhibition production, having worked with institutions such as Culturgest and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, as well as the Lisbon Architecture Triennale.
