Ale Casanova (b. 1981, Valencia, Spain) is a contemporary figurative painter whose work centers on the human figure and portraiture. He studied Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia before pursuing advanced research studies in Tenerife, where he obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) and received several national and European research grants. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, Casanova is recognized for his refined technique and contemporary approach to realism. His paintings capture intimate moments of everyday life with a striking sense of naturalism, exploring themes of human vulnerability, emotion, and connection. Light, color, and structure form the foundation of his visual language, creating works that are both immediate and psychologically resonant.
